About
What the journal covers
MyBorchard brings together articles about short trips in Germany and Europe. Subjects include city visits, transport, accommodation choices, luggage and preparation for time away.
Articles help organise individual decisions: which walks belong together, which luggage you can actually carry, and which details are missing from an accommodation listing. Sample plans are suggestions for adaptation, not trips claimed to have been taken by the publisher.
Information and its limits
Location information draws on sources including official tourism organisations, transport companies and operators. Equipment articles distinguish general selection questions from a particular manufacturer's claims. Sources appear with the relevant articles.
Opening hours, prices, booking conditions and carriage rules can change. Before booking, check the information for your dates, fare and actual connection. MyBorchard publishes editorial articles; reservations are made with the relevant provider. Equipment articles explain selection criteria and are not based on our own product tests.
Images and commercial links
Photographs illustrate the relevant location or object. Generated images are identified as illustrations on their article pages. They are not evidence of a trip, a verified product property or a personal experience.
Linked sources provide further information for the articles. This website currently contains no affiliate tracking links or paid rankings. To report an error, send the page address and relevant details to wilfried@myborchard.de.
